Due to the number of players who left the Ohio State basketball program the last two years of Thad Matta’s tenure the team was short on scholarship players to say the least. With Justice Sueing transferring in coach Holtmann will finally have a loaded roster next season.
Sueing is a sophomore who played two years for California so he will have to sit for a season, but the Buckeyes will now have 13 players on scholarship. When Holtmann took over as head coach in June, 2017 there were only eight.
What makes the fact the roster is now full even more impressive is that six of the players he inherited have moved on as well as two graduate transfers he brought in.
