When Ohio State plays Wisconsin tonight the Buckeyes will face two difficult challenges. Playing well on the road, and defending against the Badgers’ swing offense which has been very effective of late.
Bo Ryan sometimes steered away from the swing offense the last couple of years because he had talented players such as Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker who were difficult to defend one on one.
But when interim head coach Greg Gard took over in December he brought the old Wisconsin offense back. And that could create problems for Ohio State.
The swing offense relies on good ball movement, back side screens to allow players to cut to the basket.
