Ohio State Basketball: Buckeyes Can’t Keep Pace, Lose Big

The Buckeyes entered the game very aware of the daunting task they faced in order to make a case for a NCAA tournament bid. Needing at least one win against a top 10 team, probably two, they were very much up against it. Matters were made even more dire when Jae’Sean Tate was shut down for the season prior to the game.

Despite the huge task at hand, Ohio State came out of the gates fast and went went toe-to-toe early on with the heavily favored Michigan State Spartans.

They shot the ball well early, hitting on three of their first four three pointers of the game.
