Ohio State baseball: NCAA hopes still alive despite series loss

After the final out had been made, the atmosphere inside Bill Davis Stadium was so foul that it seemed Maryland had set off a number of stink bombs to spoil Senior Day.

The Terrapins came back from four- and five-run deficits by scoring seven times in the seventh inning and twice each in the eighth and ninth to come away with a 14-10 victory over Ohio State on Sunday afternoon.

What was left of a crowd of 1,011 saw senior left-hander Ryan Riga and the bullpen implode as Maryland (35-17, 13-8) won the rubber game of the three-game series from the Buckeyes (34-15, 13-8).
