The Huskers followed a familiar script in scoring a late-inning victory over the Buckeyes
When Ohio State and Nebraska step on the diamond, one thing seems to be guaranteed: the game will be close. Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, though, it has also meant coming up short in the late innings. With a 5-2 win on Friday in Lincoln, the Huskers have now won six in a row in the rivalry.
Nebraska improved to 29-11 on the season, 6-4 in Big Ten play, while Ohio State dropped to 24-10 with a 7-3 mark in the conference.
The game featured a marquee pitching matchup, with Ohio State sophomore Tanner Tully squaring off against Nebraska senior Chance Sinclair.
