With the Big Ten baseball tournament looming later this month, Ohio State will host Iowa tonight to begin a weekend series that could help determine whether the Buckeyes or Hawkeyes will make the trip to Omaha.
Ohio State (29-15-1, 8-7 Big Ten) is eighth in the conference standings. Iowa (21-21, 7-8) is tied with Illinois for ninth place. The top eight teams will play in the conference tourney on May 25-29 in TD Ameritrade Park. Three weeks remain in the Big Ten regular season.
The Buckeyes will send left-hander Tanner Tully (5-3, 2.60 ERA) to the mound at 6:35 p.
