Adam Niemeyer's masterful performance helped the Buckeyes secure the Big Ten series win.
Ohio State showed some grit on Sunday afternoon at Bill Davis Stadium, beating Rutgers 2-1 to get a much-needed series win. After losing to the Scarlet Knights on Friday night, the Buckeyes took the final two games of the series to improve their record to 4-5 in Big Ten play.
Redshirt sophomore Adam Niemeyer was back on the bump after missing his start last weekend. The right-hander was in control from the very first pitch, and save for one mistake, dominated the Scarlet Knights' bats.
