After one season with the Buckeyes, Tony Skinn is reportedly expected to depart from the program.
The Ohio State assistant coach, who replaced Terry Johnson on Chris Holtmann's staff in May 2021, will rejoin new Maryland head coach Kevin Willard this offseason, according to a report from InsideMDSports' Jeff Ermann. Skinn, a native of Takoma Park, Maryland, previously worked as an assistant on Willard's staff at Seton Hall for three seasons before coming to Columbus last year.
Willard was officially hired at Maryland on Monday after 12 seasons at the helm of the Pirates program, and replaces interim head coach Danny Manning, who took over after the Terrapins parted ways with Mark Turgeon early in the 2021-22 season.
