Just because the Super Bowl is taking place in Atlanta this weekend, doesn’t mean that you are going to be without real football to consume until the fall, because the Alliance of American Football will kick off its inaugural season on Saturday, Feb. 9 bringing another “minor league” to the professional football landscape.
The league’s eight teams will mostly all be in the south, with only the Salt Lake Stallions venturing dangerously close to the Polar Vortex zone. However, that’s not all, not only will you have real football to watch following Sunday’s Big Game, but there will also be Buckeyes involved, as five OSU alums have made 52-man rosters in the league.
