Four-star defensive tackle Carlon Jones decommitted from Nebraska on Tuesday, reopening his recruitment just over three weeks before National Signing Day.

Jones has an upcoming official visit with Ohio State scheduled for Dec. 8-10. He was offered by OSU defensive line coach Larry Johnson on Oct. 30. He was supposed to be in attendance for the Buckeyes' final home game against Minnesota, but Jones had to reschedule his visit to December.
Per 247Sports' composite rankings, Jones is considered the 410th-best prospect and the 45th-ranked defensive lineman in the 2024 class.
