One of the top offensive tackle targets in the 2026 class has narrowed his decision down to two schools.

Four-star Ohio prospect Maxwell Riley announced on Tuesday his recruitment has come down to Ohio State and Clemson, so the Buckeyes will need to beat out the Tigers so keep the Avon Lake product home. Per 247Sports’ composite rankings, Riley is considered the No. 97 prospect and No. 8 offensive tackle in the 2026 cycle. He’s been a starter for Avon Lake since his freshman year, playing both left and right tackle. In his junior season, he primarily played left tackle.
