With each passing practice, it seems Ohio State nudges closer to solidifying its starting five on the offensive line.
From left to right, a starting unit of Josh Simmons, Donovan Jackson, Seth McLaughlin, Luke Montgomery and Josh Fryar appeared as the first-team grouping on Student Appreciation Day. That lineup could very well be deployed this fall, especially with Montgomery saying on Monday that he's been almost exclusively at guard this spring.
Elsewhere along the front five, McLaughlin is gaining more comfort and control at the center position after transferring in from Alabama. Carson Hinzman is giving him a push at the position, however.
