Once upon a time, Lou Holtz was an Ohio State assistant under legendary head coach Woody Hayes and helped lead the Buckeyes to a national championship in 1968.
However, Holtz moved on from Ohio State soon after, eventually moving up the ranks to a head coaching position at Notre Dame from 1986-96, winning the program’s most recent national title in 1988.
On Friday, Holtz left no doubt about where his allegiances lie when Ohio State and Notre Dame battle in a top-10 matchup on Saturday.
"Tell Ohio State they better bring their lunch because it's gonna be a full day's work"
