Notre Dame Football to Wear Green Jerseys Against Ohio State in 2023

Notre Dame football celebrated St. Patrick's Day with a special announcement on Friday.

When the Irish welcome Ohio State to South Bend, Indiana, for the second matchup of a home-and-home series with the Buckeyes on Sept. 23, the program will wear alternate green jerseys as part of a "Green Out" at Notre Dame Stadium.

According to Tyler Horka of On3, Notre Dame has fared well while wearing any green on their uniforms in the last 40 years, collecting a 10-6 record and wins in five consecutive contests dating back to a 45-21 road win over Maryland.
