No domestic violence charges against Ezekiel Elliott, city attorney says

Former Ohio State football star Ezekiel Elliott will not face charges from domestic-violence complaints made by a Dublin woman, the Columbus city attorney's office said on Tuesday.

The prosecutor's division reviewed the complaint against Elliott, 21, now a running back with the Dallas Cowboys, and found that the evidence was conflicting and the information inconsistent, according to a written statement from the city attorney's office. As a result, the evidence was insufficient to support criminal charges, the statement said.

Tiffany Thompson, 20, had filed the complaint July 22 with Columbus police. She told police there were five incidents of domestic violence involving Elliott between July 17 and July 22.
