The No. 18 Ohio State Buckeyes men’s basketball team looked to find a groove early in their game on Sunday, coming off of an ugly, but gritty, win over Cincinnati on Wednesday. Against the UMass-Lowell River Hawks, the Buckeyes looked much more put together on both offense and defense en route to a big 76-56 win. Kaleb Wesson led the way with 13 points, posting a double-double with a career-high 13 rebounds and five assists.
Without Andre Wesson — who will miss the next two weeks with a fractured eye socket suffered against the Bearcats — head coach Chris Holtmann leaned on minutes from a handful of guys, including his talented freshmen.
