CANTON — Orlando Pace, in his new gold jacket and flanked by his oldest son, Justin, pulled back a cover Saturday night to reveal the bronze bust that proved beyond doubt that he now is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
“Wow,” Pace said to the crowd estimated at 10,000 at the induction ceremony in Tom Benson Stadium, between the hall and Canton McKinley High School. “This is amazing.”
Among those joining him in the class were Brett Favre, the three-time NFL MVP and Super Bowl-winning quarterback who spent most of his career with Green Bay; Marvin Harrison, a Super Bowl-winning receiver with Indianapolis; and Kevin Greene, a defensive end-linebacker who was third all time in sacks while playing for four teams.
