Now that the NFL Draft is now over, we can sit back and take a look at what all happened. For the defending National Champion Ohio State Buckeyes, it was somewhat of a quiet draft. No Buckeyes were taken before the second round, when Devin Smith was scooped up by the new-regime New York Jets. It was the first time since the 2002 Buckeyes won the National Championship that no players from a championship team were taken in the first round.
After Smith, four more Buckeyes including Michael Bennett, Doran Grant, Jeff Heuerman and Evan Spencer were selected by professional teams.
