Add recruiting to the long list of sports-related activities being set aside due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The NCAA has reportedly suspended all on-campus and off-campus recruiting activities and has set up a temporary recruiting dead period for all sports – including football and men's basketball – through April 15.
That means no official visits or unofficial visits, contacts or evaluations can be made during that time period. Phone calls, text messages and scholarship offers, however, will still be permitted.
On Wednesday night, Michigan and Ohio State football made two of the first team moves related to postponement of recruiting, suspending all official and unofficial visits through April 20.
