Ohio State’s forwards Marc Loving, Keita Bates-Diop and Jae’Sean Tate have played well so far this season. Now with the Buckeyes entering the Big Ten season, those three players are going to get a stiff test in their first conference game.
Minnesota has two 6’ 9” forwards in Jason King and Charles Buggs to go along with 6’ 6” Jordan Murphy. This gives the Gophers a size advantage against the Buckeyes. Loving and Bates-Diop are listed at 6’ 7”, and Tate at 6’ 4”.
Another challenge is the fact that all three of the Minnesota forwards can score, and they all shoot 40 percent or better from beyond the three point line.
