If you have been following the NBA Playoffs, you know that Memphis Grizzlies guard and former Buckeye Mike Conley Jr. has been injured and is currently out for the foreseeable future.
In the third quarter of Game 3 against the Portland Trail Blazers, Conley took an elbow to the face from Portland’s C.J. McCollum. The shot didn’t seem to be intentional, but it certainly looked like it hurt.
Mike had surgery on Monday to repair multiple facial fractures, and missed Game 4 on Monday night. His recovery will obviously take some time from such a serious injury, and he also missed Game 5 on Wednesday night.
