EVANSTON, Ill. -- Mickey Mitchell and Trevor Thompson were talking about the next night's game in their Chicagoland hotel room when Mitchell made a promise to Thompson.
"We were talking about it all night," Thompson said. "If we got on the floor together, he said I'm gonna find you, and I said I'm gonna finish."
So really it was a mutual promise. Each guy held up his end of the bargain in Ohio State's 65-56 win over Northwestern on Wednesday night. It was the Buckeyes seventh win in a row, and Ohio State is tied for first place in the Big Ten through three conference games.
