Michigan State Quarterback Hopeful To Play Against Ohio State

Michigan State came out with a victory over Maryland despite having lost their starting quarterback for the second half.

Starter Connor Cook left the game early with an apparent shoulder injury. He sat on the sideline during the second half to watch his 13th-ranked Spartans cruise to a 24-7 win over Maryland.

After the game Cook said he felt healthy enough to play against No. 3 Ohio State next week.

According to ESPN, Cook said he felt “like a 9.5” when asked how confident he was on a scale of one to 10. “I’m pretty confident,” added Cook.
