Some coaches take recruiting seriously, to the point where they get emotionally upset when a player swtiches their commitments during the process. Add Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio to the list of coaches who feel that way.
Over the weekend, it was revealed that the Spartans had pulled the offer for three star offensive lineman Gavin Cupp. And the reason why, according to Michigan State fan site The Only Colors:
“…The reason to move on from Cupp was due to the 6-foot-5, 270 pound lineman visiting Ohio State’s Friday Night Lights camp.
While Cupp has yet to grab an offer from Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes, the senior has told Ari Wasserman of Cleveland.
