Michigan will reportedly be without Jim Harbaugh for its first four games of the 2023 season.
Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger reported Tuesday that Harbaugh and the NCAA are working toward a resolution that would result in Harbaugh being suspended for Michigan’s first four games of the year.
The suspension comes after Harbaugh allegedly lied to investigators about NCAA violations committed by the program, including meeting with two recruits during the COVID-19 dead period in 2020-21, using too many coaches at practice sessions and watching player workouts over a video feed.
Offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore and tight ends coach Grant Newsome will also be suspended for one game each, according to The Athletic’s Austin Meek.
