Michael Thomas Smashes NFL Record for Most Receptions Through Season's First Two Games with 28

Another day, another NFL record for New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas.

With 12 catches – two going for touchdowns – in his team's 21-18 win over the Cleveland Browns Sunday, and a Saints record 16 receptions in the opener against Tampa Bay, the Buckeye great set an NFL record for the most catches through the first two games of the season with 28.

Andre Rison held the previous NFL mark of 24 catches through the first two games of a season while playing for the Atlanta Falcons in 1994.
