Men's Gymnastics Takes Home the Big Ten Title

The third-ranked Ohio State Men's Gymnastics team steamrolled their way to the Big Ten title yesterday, topping the leaderboard and putting up some impressive performances en route to a more than five point victory over the rest of the field at St. John Arena.

Head coach Rustam Sharipov must've been especially happy to see redshirt sophomore Sean Melton in particular have an outstanding meet, winning the all-around title by finishing first on the parallel bars, rings, and the floor exercise. His freshman teammate Alec Yoder took second, performing well on the pommel horse and the rings.

This is an especially significant win for the Buckeyes because of the Big Ten teams competing, seven are ranked in the top ten nationally.
