Wittenberg's golfers combined to shoot 15 over par, putting them just two shots behind second-place St. Thomas of Minnesota but much farther behind leader Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, which is at 2 over.
Otterbein is at 19 over.
Garrett Brickley of Wittenberg and Adam Crider of Otterbein are tied for third among individuals in a group that shot par on their respective courses, the par-72 Midvale Country Club and the par-71 Mendon Golf Club.
