A late-season injury might have knocked Sterling Manley off the nation’s recruiting radar, but the Pickerington Central senior is making up for lost time.
Monday, the 6-foot-11 center received an in-person evaluation from North Carolina coach Roy Williams that concluded with a scholarship offer. Other coaches on hand at the school were Georgetown’s John Thompson III and Tennessee’s Rick Barnes, both of whom have also offered.
According to Central coach Eric Krueger, such attention has become the new normal for a fully healthy Manley.

“It’s been a pretty steady stream of schools calling me and him daily,” Manley told The Dispatch.
