Men's basketball | Ohio State humbled by Indiana in first Big Ten loss

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sometimes a good defense doesn’t beat a good offense.

Ohio State today brought the best field-goal percentage defense in the Big Ten into Assembly Hall, home of the Big Ten’s top-shooting team. It left crushed after Indiana laid an 85-60 beatdown in a matchup of two of the Big Ten’s four remaining undefeated teams in conference play.

The loss was the most points the Buckeyes have allowed this season. The 25-point defeat ties for the biggest Big Ten loss in Thad Matta’s tenure and is Ohio State’s biggest loss to Indiana since a 27-point defeat on Jan.
