Men's basketball | Ohio State apparently still in the running for Kobi Simmons

Ohio State is one of three final finalists for class of 2016 five-star point guard prospect Kobi Simmons.

The Alpharetta, Ga., native posted a list of his final three teams today on Twitter. In a photo illustration depicting him wearing all three jerseys, Simmons wrote, “New Final 3!!! Arizona, Kentucky, Ohio State”

Simmons had been listing UNLV as one of his top teams, but it fired coach Dave Rice on Sunday night. Ohio State is mostly considered the leader for Simmons, and after he did not sign during the early signing period it was thought that UNLV was perhaps his second choice.
