LINCOLN, Neb. — Ohio State’s win Sunday against Michigan State did more than snap a four-game losing streak to open Big Ten play. In the words of the Buckeyes, it established a standard by which they have to play in order to find success in conference play.
In front of one of the Big Ten’s best atmospheres on Wednesday night, they pulled it off. Nebraska lost Marc Loving on an inbounds play under Ohio State’s basket after a timeout with 1.9 seconds left, and he laid in C.J. Jackson’s pass with 0.6 of a second left to set the final score at 67-66.
