Jae’Sean Tate isn’t a pure shooter or a prototypical Big Ten big man. Yet, somehow, the Pickerington Central product is leading the Ohio State men's basketball team in Big Ten scoring with five games remaining in his sophomore season.
It’s a positive development for the Buckeyes and for Tate, who continues to grow into a key force on and off the court.
“He has moves,” sophomore center Trevor Thompson said. “He has improved a lot on his jump shot over the summertime. His handles are a lot better than people realize because he can really dribble the ball.
