Maintaining focus and intensity for a midweek matchup against unranked Towson in between two Big Ten games is a challenge in itself for the Buckeyes.
Ohio State has already had a couple close calls against mid-major opponents, but the Buckeyes can't afford to lose any momentum after back-to-back wins over Duke and Penn State over the past week. Freshman guard Meechie Johnson Jr. said Tuesday that the team is not taking the matchup lightly, even if it appears to be a drop-off in competition on paper.
"(Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann) said they're a very good team," Johnson said.
