If you were tuning into the Ohio State spring game — or were in the crowd at Ohio Stadium — and were hoping to see some fireworks from the newly constituted Ohio State Buckeyes, the first quarter was considerably underwhelming. But, as the Buckeyes came back out for the second period, the offenses found their flow, and the points started piling up, even if it wasn’t always in the prettiest of ways.
When all was said and done the Gray squad took home the spring game victory, beating the Scarlet 35-17. Much of the attention coming into the game was focused on new transfer quarterback Justin Fields who was donning a Buckeye jersey for the first time.
