Lorenzo Styles Jr. Loses Black Stripe After 12 Practices As Ohio State Cornerback

Lorenzo Styles Jr. needed only 12 practices as an Ohio State cornerback to shed his black stripe.

Styles became one of the two latest Buckeyes to have his black stripe removed, along with redshirt freshman walk-on wide receiver David Adolph, following Wednesday’s 12th practice of preseason camp. His younger brother, second-year Ohio State safety Sonny Styles, had the honor of taking the stripe off of his older brother's helmet.

While Styles has two years of experience as a college football player at Notre Dame, he’s in his first year playing cornerback after making the switch with his transfer to Ohio State this summer.
