With the game at hand well before halftime, Ohio State emptied its bench quite a bit during Saturday's 49-6 win over Tulane.
In all, 14 first-year Buckeyes saw the field on Saturday, and seven made an impact in the stat book.
On the offensive end, wide receiver L'Christian "Blue" Smith made his Ohio State debut while Master Teague III led the way with six rushes for 25 yards. Chris Olave and Jaelen Gill each had catches, for 14 and 11 yards respectively.
On the defensive side of the ball, Dallas Gant led the entire team with four tackles – the first of his Buckeye career – while Tyler Friday registered his college sack and tackle for a loss.
