COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A few hours before five-star defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence of Monroe (La.) Neville committed to LSU over Ohio State on Friday, the Buckeyes offered another defensive tackle.
That prospect was four-star defensive tackle Keyshon Camp of Lakeland (Fla.) Lake Gibson. At the time 6-foot-4, 275-pound prospect was committed to USC.
Not anymore.
Rated the No. 27 defensive tackle in the 2016 recruiting class in the 247Sports composite rankings, Camp announced on his public Twitter account Saturday that he's no longer pledged to the Trojans.
Ohio State had a huge week on the recruiting trail last week, but Urban Meyer is still in pursuit of a defensive tackle.
