Kevin Wilson’s contract at Ohio State is worth $1.4 million

Land-Grant Holy Land has obtained the details of new Ohio State football offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson’s two-year contract with the university.

The former Indiana head coach’s base salary will start at $650,000 for the 2017 season, and will then increase to $750,000 beginning on February 1st, 2018. Additionally, Wilson will receive an 8.5% bonus if the team wins a Big Ten East title, and another 4.25% bonus if they will the Big Ten championship game.

The contract also includes bonuses for College Football Playoff appearances and victories.

Following Wilson’s unceremonious firing at Indiana that involved accusations of player mistreatment, a stipulation of his agreement with Ohio State requires that he “shall perform his duties and personally comport himself at all times in a manner consistent with good sportsmanship and with the high moral, ethical and academic standards of Ohio State and its Department of Athletics.
