The Normal, Ill. native was named to yet another second team All-America list on Thursday by CBS Sports, giving him his fourth such accolade. He is joined on the CBS second team by Villanova's Mikal Bridges, Michigan State's Miles Bridges and Texas Tech's Keenan Evans.
Bates-Diop was named to the Associated Press second team on Tuesday, and also was placed on All-America teams by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
The redshirt-junior forward declared himself eligible for the 2018 NBA Draft on Monday, after he averaged 19.
