One of Ohio State’s biggest stars won’t appear in EA Sports College Football 25.
Ohio State defensive end JT Tuimoloau is absent from the Buckeyes’ initial roster for the video game. A source told Eleven Warriors that he chose not to opt into EA Sports’ licensing agreement, which offered players $600 and a free copy of the game in exchange for the right to use their name, image and likeness.
Tuimoloau is the highest-profile player missing from Ohio State’s video game roster, but not the only one. Left tackle Josh Simmons is also absent from OSU’s launch roster for EA Sports College Football 25, as is tight end Jelani Thurman.
