Cardale Jones and J.T. Barrett are no strangers to friendly competition.

The two best friends battled for the starting spot before and during the 2015 season, and now at the NFL level, they got a chance to battle again as part of a friendly competition between the quarterbacks at the Chargers and Saints joint offseason practices.

Barrett went first, completing three of his throws for a total of four points in the game, but Jones had the better performance, completing hitting four of his throws for a total of 12 points.

Both Barrett and Jones are competing for roster spots this fall with Barrett trying to make his first NFL regular season roster as an undrafted rookie and Jones competing with Geno Smith for the Chargers' backup quarterback spot.
