COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Jordan Anthony was looking through his direct messages folder on Twitter and he found he had one from Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson.
A four-star linebacker of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG, Anthony didn't realize he was a click away from earning an Ohio State offer.
"When I opened it and saw it, I was really excited," Anthony told cleveland.com in a phone interview Tuesday evening. "That is one of the top programs out there right now, so it was definitely exciting to have that opportunity."
Rated the No. 5 outside linebacker in the 2017 recruiting class in the 247Sports composite rankings, Anthony just transferred to IMG from Olney (Md.
