Jessica Davenport: Athlete’s discipline builds online store

Former Ohio State University women’s-basketball standout Jessica Davenport was the first three-time All-American in program history and the first three-time Big Ten Player of the Year during a career that lasted from 2003 to 2007. She was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2007 WNBA draft and played six seasons in the league and overseas before retiring in 2014.

Davenport grew up in Columbus and played basketball for Independence High School before enrolling at Ohio State. She still lives on the South Side and started Envy My Tee, a customized T-shirt printing and apparel business, this year.
