There’s a holiday that is celebrated every Saturday in the south…Gameday. On gameday, women usually wear dresses, while a collared shirt and khakis are the standard for men. It’s southern tradition. It’s the SEC. It has been said that the best football in the country is played down south and with the success that the Southeastern Conference has had in the last ten years, it would be hard to disagree. A team from the SEC won the natty for seven consecutive years just before the end of the BCS era. There was even a four year stretch from 2009 through 2012 when the BCS national championship didn’t leave the borders of the state of Alabama.
