COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Temple, Massachusetts, Albany, Rhode Island, Stony Brook, Towson and Wagner. Those are all the offers three-star athlete Jahsen Wint of Brooklyn (N.Y.) Erasmus Hall had before the weekend.
But on Friday, the first day of Wint's official visit to Ohio State this past weekend, Urban Meyer looked at him and said: "Brooklyn in the house."
Ok, maybe that's not the important part. Here's the the part that matters: Meyer told Wint he had an Ohio State offer and asked, "Are you ready to be a Buckeye?"
Put the Ohio State offer against his previous scholarship offers list, and it's a wonder Wint didn't take it on the spot.
