In front of 99,931 fans — a new national record for a spring game — Ohio State's Gray team defeated the Scarlet on Saturday afternoon, 17-14.
Most of the Buckeyes' starters were limited to the first two series of the game, but some did get extended play. Quarterback Cardale Jones, who led the Gray team, finished the game 19 for 42 passing for 304 yards and two touchdowns to go along with two interceptions. Stephen Collier, the quarterback for the Scarlet team, went 15 for 33 through the air for 157 yards with a pair of touchdowns and three interceptions.

In what was primarily an all-passing game, Corey Smith led the Ohio State offensive players with six catches for 174 yards and two touchdowns.
