Graham Rahal was in town Tuesday to promote the fast-approaching IndyCar race the first weekend of August at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and also to try to convert some fans. That put him on a pre-planned collision course with former Ohio State and NFL receiver turned ESPN analyst Joey Galloway.
Actually, Rahal had Galloway at “hello,” Galloway being a bona fide fan of NASCAR Sprint Cup racing but eager to learn much more about the faster world of IndyCars. With that in mind, Rahal presented him with one of his Rahal Letterman Lanigan team shirts in the trophies atrium of the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
