By now, you’ve likely heard that Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett was arrested early Saturday morning for operating a motor vehicle under the influence. Wondering how much alcohol Barrett had to have consumed to have allegedly blown over the .08 blood-alcohol concentration level? CBS Sports’ Bruce Feldman did the math.
According to Feldman, who used an online BAC calculator, Barrett, at 225 pounds, would have had to have consumed the equivalent of about seven beers over two hours. It’s probably more than you thought.
