Halftime show features both Ohio State and Michigan bands

Although the football teams from Ohio State and Michigan battled it out on Saturday, the bands from the two universities came together at halftime to honor America. Both bands united to perform "America the Beautiful,” filling the field.

It was part of the “Olympic Spirit” halftime show.

Music included “Bugler’s Dream,” “Javelin,” “Theme from Chariots of Fire,” “Parade of the Charioteers” from the movie “Ben-Hur” and “The Star Spangled Banner.”

The band members formed an Olympic torch, a javelin thrower, the Olympic rings, two runners, and a medal ceremony.

The music was arranged by Ken McCoy, and the drill design was by Jeff Krubsack and Jennifer Olis.
